The Trimble Forensics Capture version 3.4 update is out and there are a ton of new features and updates on existing capabilities that you would want to see. Here are some of the highlights:

New way to download: Trimble Forensics Capture for Android and Windows 10 data collectors will now be distributed through Trimble Installation Manager (TIM) from now on. Existing users will have to download TIM in order to download the 3.4 and future updates.

Installation Manager

New Logo: The Capture field software got a cosmetic update in this release with a brand new logo.

Base and Rover setup: In addition to having the ability to use an R4sLE as a NTRIP configuration, you now have the ability to pair up two R4s LE GNSS receivers and operate as a base and rover configuration.

Trimble RTX: To back your field measurements data with the highest level of accuracy, we've added the support for RTX high-level accuracy GNSS positioning service.

Strikethrough Feature: Sometimes a point is mapped that may not be what you would like it to be. If you don't catch it right away, you have the ability to strike it from the measurement log later. The point will still be saved, but will be given a special "struck" designation, so they won't be used when bringing your scene into Reveal.

Edit Target Height Settings: In previous versions of Capture this settings was a bit out of the way and it was easy to forget to change your target height value after changing your prism height in the field: not anymore. We've placed the Edit Target Height button on the main screen where the grid button used to be.

Custom HUD: We've made updates to the settings to give users more flexibility to customize their Capture HUD menu.
